Check of functioning of the mechanism of blocking of inclusion of a transfer of a backing

1. Perform the following verification operations.

• The reverse gear lock ring does not pull up.
• Move the lever in the chosen direction (in reverse gear direction), until it stops, then move it forward until it shifts into 1st gear.
• The reverse gear lock ring is pulled up.
• Move the lever in the chosen direction (in reverse gear direction), until it stops, then move it forward until it shifts into reverse gear.

2. If the above operations cannot be performed, adjust the shift rod length by performing the following operations:

• A. loosen the adjusting bolt of the shift rod;
• b. move the lever (from the gearbox side) and shift lever assembly to 1st gear (pic. 12.8);
• c. tighten the shift rod adjusting bolt.
