Removing
- Drain the hydraulic clutch fluid.
- On a left-hand drive vehicle, remove the relay box and activated charcoal canister.
- Remove the cotter pin, washer and pin securing the clutch cylinder pushrod to the clutch pedal (pic. 11.9).

- Turn away a connecting nut and disconnect a tube from the main cylinder of coupling.
- Loosen the nuts and remove the clutch master cylinder.
- Turn away a connecting nut and disconnect a tube from the working cylinder of coupling.
- Turn out bolts and remove the working cylinder of coupling.
- Get clips and remove a hose of a hydraulic drive of coupling.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Lubricate bushing, washer and pin prior to installation.
- When installing, use a new cotter pin to secure the pin.
- Before installing grease MITSUBISHI Part No. 0101011 Lubricate the pusher of the clutch slave cylinder (pic. 11.10).

- Fill with fluid and bleed the hydraulic clutch actuator.
- Adjust the position of the clutch pedal.
