1. Start the engine to warm up the gearbox to a temperature of 70-80°C.
2. Raise the front of the vehicle so that the drive wheels can turn freely.
3. Connect a special pressure gauge MD998330 with adapters MD998332 and MD998900 to each pressure test port (pic. 13.27, 13.28).

4. Measure the pressure of the transmission fluid at various positions of the selector lever and the engine speed given in the table.
Note. In figures 13.27, 13.28 and 13.29, the pressure test fittings are indicated as follows:
- 2ND: 2nd gear brake pressure
- UD: underdrive clutch pressure
- LR: low and reverse brake pressure
- DR: torque converter pressure
- RV: reverse clutch pressure
- OD: overdrive clutch pressure
5. If the pressure of the transmission fluid at different positions of the selector lever and the engine speed does not correspond to the required values, check and repair the gearbox elements.
