Note. Before disconnecting the vacuum hose, mark its location so that you can reinstall it in its original position later.
1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the throttle control solenoid valve.
2. Disconnect the connector from the throttle control solenoid valve (pic. 8.14).

3. Connect the hand vacuum pump to the (IN) throttle control solenoid valve (pic. 8.15).

4. Using a manual vacuum pump, create a vacuum in the throttle control solenoid valve pipe and check for a decrease in vacuum when applying and disconnecting voltage from the contacts of the solenoid valve connector.
5. Measure the resistance between the throttle control solenoid connector pins.
Resistance at 25°C: 43-49 Ohm
