Checking the temperature sensor of the air entering the engine

1. Disconnect the connector from the air flow meter (pic. 8.5).



2. Measure the resistance of the intake air temperature sensor between tracks 1 and 2 of the connector.

Resistance, kOhm:

• at -30°С: 24.0-27.2
• at 20°C: 2.35-2.55
• at 100°C: 0.18-186

3. If the resistance does not decrease when the sensor is heated, replace the sensor.
