- Remove the cap from the oil filler neck. Remove the oil drain plug from the oil pan and wait until all the oil has drained into a container.
- Unscrew the oil filter with a special wrench.
- Wipe off all traces of oil and dirt around the filter attachment. Check if the rubber seal is left on the cylinder block. If it remains, then remove it.
- Lubricate the rubber seal of the new oil filter with clean engine oil (pic. 4.44).

- Screw in the oil filter and tighten it to the required torque.
Tightening torque: 10-14 Nm
- Fill the lubrication system with engine oil.
- Start the engine and check for oil leaks.
- Stop the engine and wait a few minutes for the oil to drain into the sump. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.
- Dispose of the oil filter in accordance with current legislation.
