Warning. The crankshaft sprocket for driving the oil pump rotates freely on the crankshaft. The sprocket is fixed relative to the crankshaft by a crankshaft pulley bolt, therefore, it is necessary to strictly observe the tightening torque.

The most effective precaution is to use working methods that virtually eliminate skin contact with mineral oil. For example, the use of closed waste oil collection systems, washing machines to clean parts from oil and grease before starting work.
Other security measures.
- Avoid prolonged skin contact with oils, especially used engine oils.
- Wear protective clothing and impervious gloves.
- Where there is a possibility of oil getting into the eyes, goggles should be worn.
- For open cuts and wounds, seek emergency medical attention.
- Wash your hands regularly with soap and water. After washing, it is recommended to smear hands with a cream with lanolin to restore the fatty cover of the skin.
- Do not use gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, gas oil, solvents or thinners to clean hands.
