Note. When disconnecting the vacuum hose, mark its position so that the hose can be connected in its original position.
1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the solenoid valve.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the solenoid valve.
3. Connect the hand vacuum pump to the (B, fig. 4.36) solenoid valve.

4. Check for vacuum leakage from the solenoid valve by applying vacuum and applying voltage to the solenoid valve connector pins and disconnecting the voltage.
5. Check the resistance between the contacts of the solenoid valve connector (pic. 4.37).
