Manual power windows*
1. Raising glass; 2. Lowering the glass
Power windows with electric drive*
The power windows only work when the ignition key is in the ON position (ON).
The glass of each door is raised or lowered if the corresponding button is pressed.
1. Driver's door; 2. Front passenger door; 3. Left rear door; 4. Right rear door; 5. Lock switch.
Note. After disconnecting the wires from the battery terminals or replacing the fuse in the vehicle's electrical circuits, there is a possibility that the power windows will malfunction even after the electrical circuit is restored. In this situation, it is necessary to perform a series of operations for all power windows in the following sequence. If the window is down, press the appropriate button on the power window remote control several times to close the window completely. After that, press the switch button again and hold it pressed for 1 second. After that, the normal operation of the power window will be restored.
Warning
- (1) Before raising the windows while the car is moving, make sure that the hands or heads of passengers are not exposed to the windows, as they may be caught in the windows and injured. This warning applies especially to children
- (2) Remove the key from the ignition switch before leaving the vehicle.
- (3) Do not leave children unattended in the car. They may unconsciously activate switches and become trapped in the window.
Main switch
The master switch, located on the driver's door, controls the power windows of all vehicle doors. The glass can be lowered or raised by pressing the corresponding switch. Push the switch down to lower the window and push the switch up to raise the window.
If the switch is pushed all the way down (pressed up), then the glass will go down completely (will rise) automatically. If it is necessary to stop the movement of the glass, lightly press the switch in the opposite direction (press the switch up if the glass moves down, and vice versa, press the switch down if the glass moves up).
Power window switches in passenger doors
Using the switches located in the doors, you can control the corresponding door windows. Push the switch down to lower the window and push the switch up to raise the window. If the switch is pushed all the way down (pressed up), the door glass is lowered (rises) fully. If it is necessary to stop the movement of the glass, lightly press the switch in the opposite direction.
Note
- (1) The power windows can operate for up to 30 seconds after the ignition is turned off. If the driver's door is opened during this period, the glass in the door may open or close for another 30 seconds. However, after the driver's door is closed, the power windows will not work
- (2) Due to the design features of the rear doors, the windows of these doors are lowered only halfway.
Lock switch
1. Blocked; 2. Unlocked
Pressing the switch button blocks the control of the door windows using the switches on the passenger doors. Using the switch on the driver's door, you can raise or lower the glass on any door.
To unlock, press this button again.
Warning. If a child plays with the power window switch, when the window is raised, the passenger's hands or head may be caught in the glass and injured. Therefore, when transporting children, it is necessary to block the power windows in the passenger doors.
Pinch protection
If something interferes with the closing of the glass, the glass stops and automatically lowers slightly. However, make sure that the hands or heads of the passengers are not exposed to the windows. The lowered window can be raised again after a few seconds.
Warning. The anti-pinch function does not work if something is pinched by the glass when the window is almost completely closed.
Note. Using the power windows when the engine is off will drain the battery, so try to use the power windows only when the engine is running.
