Front seat adjustment
Position the driver's seat in a position that allows easy operation of the pedals, steering wheel and instrument panel switches while still providing good visibility.
Warnings
- 1) If necessary, adjust the seat only before the start of the movement.
- (2) After the seat is adjusted, make sure it is securely locked. To this end, try to move the seat and its backrest forward and backward without using the adjustment mechanism.
- (3) To reduce the risk of injury in the event of a collision or sudden braking of the vehicle, the seatbacks should be in a nearly upright position while driving. The effectiveness of the seat belts may be significantly reduced if the seat back is reclined. In this case, there is a risk that the passenger will slip out from under the seat belt and, as a result, will be seriously injured.
Warnings
- (1) Make sure the seat has been adjusted by an adult. If the adjustment was made by a child, it may cause an accident.
- (2) Do not place pillows, etc. between your back and the back of the seat while driving. This will reduce the effectiveness of the head restraints in the event of an accident.
Adjusting the longitudinal position of the front seat
Pull up on the seat adjustment lever and move the seat forward or backward to the desired position. After adjustment, release the lever to lock the seat in the new position.
Warning. To make sure the seat is securely locked, try moving it forward or backward without using the adjustment lever.
Adjustment of an inclination of a backrest of forward sitting
1. Tilt forward; 2. Tilt back.
The angle of the backrest is adjusted by turning the handle. To tilt the seat back forward, first tilt your body away from the back.
Warning
- For the most effective protection, the seatback should be in an upright position when the vehicle is in motion. Always sit leaning back and adjust the seat belt properly
- way. If the seat back is tilted too far back, in an accident, you can slide out from under the seat belt and suffer serious internal injuries.
Seat cushion height adjustment (driver's seat only)
1. Raise the rear of the seat cushion.
2. Lowering the rear of the seat cushion.
The height of the driver's seat cushion is adjusted by moving the lever.
