- Adjust the pressure in the tires of all wheels.
- Install the car on running drums and place stops under the rear wheels (pic. 19.66).

- Check that the speedometer readings match the speeds given in the tables.

- If speed ratings are not as expected, check tire size and condition. If the condition and size of the tires are normal, replace the speedometer. If the speed ratings are still not correct, replace the vehicle speed sensor.
