Fog light adjustment
- Empirically determine the center of the fog lamp (pic. 19.87).

- Install the car at a distance of 5 m from the centers of the headlight glasses to the screen (see fig. 19.77).
- Bring the tire pressure up to the required pressure. The vehicle must be in running order with a full fuel tank, a set of tools and a spare wheel.
- Only a driver weighing 75 kg must be in the car.
- Clean the headlight glass.
- Start the engine and increase the crankshaft speed to 2000 min-1.
- Make sure that the zone of greatest illumination is located in accordance with the area highlighted in Figure 19.88.

Rated values:
- in the vertical plane: 100 mm below the horizontal line
- in the horizontal plane: a line parallel to the vehicle axis
Note. Adjustment of the headlight of the horizontal plane is not provided. If the light deviates from the nominal position, check the correct mounting of the headlight or defects affecting the installation.
- If necessary, turn the adjusting screw to adjust the headlights (pic. 19.89).

Lamp replacement
- Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.
- Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screw securing the fog lamp trim (pic. 19.90). Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully pry and remove the fog lamp cover.

- Disconnect the connector attached to the fog lamp bracket.
- Take out the fog lamp.
- Rotate the protective cap counterclockwise (pic. 19 91).

- Squeeze the spring clips of the lamp, move them to the side and remove the lamp from the fog lamp (pic. 19.92). Do not touch the surface of the halogen lamp with hands or dirty gloves.

Warning. If the lamp surface is dirty, wipe it with alcohol or thinner and dry it well before installing it in the headlight.
- Checking the fog light switch
- Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.
- To remove the headlight range control switch with a screwdriver, remove the switch trim, then disconnect the connector, squeeze the latches and remove the fog lamp switch.
- Check the continuity between the contacts at various positions of the fog lamp switch (pic. 19.94).
