A double-row angular contact ball bearing is installed in the rear wheel hub, in which the inner surface of the central hole of the hub is used as the outer race, which leads to a decrease in the dimensions and weight of the bearing (pic. 14.47). This provides significant serviceability as Preload is achieved simply by tightening the hub nut to the correct torque.
