- Wheel alignment has a significant effect on vehicle stability, tire wear and fuel consumption.
- Before measuring the front wheel alignment, park the vehicle on a level, level surface.
- Before adjusting, make sure that the front suspension, steering and wheels are in good technical condition.
Convergence:
- in the center of the tire tread: 0 + 2 mm
- convergence angle (on the wheel): 0°00’+06'
Notes
- 1. If the toe-in does not correspond to the nominal value, then adjust the toe-in as follows: loosen the clamps securing the protective covers of the steering rods and rotate the right and left steering rods at the same angles in opposite directions (fig.14.3).
- 2. The amount of convergence will decrease when rotating the left tie rod to the front of the car, and the right tie rod to the rear.

One revolution of the left and right tie rods results in a change in toe value of approximately 1°05' (on one wheel).
Negative toe-in of steered wheels when turning
- In addition to checking the toe-in of the front wheels, it is recommended to check the reverse toe-in of the steered wheels when cornering, especially in cases where the car has been in an accident or the possibility that the car has been in an accident cannot be ruled out. Carry out this check at left and right turns.
