2. Disconnect the return hose from the tank (pic. 16.8).

3. Connect an additional vinyl hose to the return hose and drain the fluid into a suitable container.
4. Disconnect the high voltage wire from the ignition coil (engine 1.3 l) or connector from the ignition coil (engine 1.8 l).
Warning. On a 1.3L engine, do not place the disconnected high voltage wire near the fuel rail.
5. Periodically engage the starter while turning the steering wheel from lock to lock several times to drain all fluid from the power steering hydraulic drive.
6. Connect the return hose to the tank and secure it with a clamp.
7. Fill the fluid reservoir to the base of the oil filter. Bleed the hydraulic drive of the power steering.
