Pic. 15.13. Connecting pressure gauges to the inlet and outlet of the pressure regulator
2. Remove air from the hydraulic drive of brakes and pressure gauges.
3. Gradually depressing the brake pedal, carry out the following measurements and make sure that the measured values are within tolerance.
(1) Verify that outlet pressure begins to drop relative to inlet pressure (switching point) (pic. 15.14).
Pic. 15.14. The dependence of the pressure at the outlet of the pressure regulator on the pressure at the inlet to the pressure regulator.
Rated value: 2.45 MPa
(2) Make sure that when increasing the pressure on the brake pedal, the fluid outlet pressure is within 4.30 + 0.4 MPa, while the inlet pressure is 9.81 MPa.
(3) The differential pressure at the outlet between the right and left circuits of the hydraulic drive of the brake system should not exceed 0.4 MPa.
4. If the pressure measurements are not as expected, replace the pressure regulator.
