Checking the electromagnetic clutch of the compressor

1. Disconnect the single-pin connector from the magnetic clutch (pic. 18.2).



2. With an additional wire, connect the positive terminal of the battery to the output of the clutch connector.

3. If the clutch is working, then you hear «click». If the anchor and pulley do not come into contact («click» absent), then the magnetic clutch is faulty.
