Removing
- Remove the multifunction stalk with integrated headlight washer switch.
- Drain washer fluid.
- Remove the front bumper.
- Disconnect the hoses and remove the pressure valve.
- Remove the headlight washer hoses.
- Turn away nuts and remove arms and sprayers.
- Turn out screws and remove a tank of a washer of headlights.
- Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the headlight washer pump.
- In the engine compartment, remove the headlight washer relay (pic. 17.79).

Checking the headlight washer switch
- Using an ohmmeter, check the continuity between the connector pins at various positions of the headlight washer switch (pic. 17.80).

Pressure valve check
- Apply pressure to the pressure valve inlet and check the opening pressure of the valve (pic. 17.81).
