- If, when closing the glass, it suddenly starts to spontaneously move down, adjust or replace the window regulator mechanism.
- Remove the door upholstery and dust and moisture protective film.
- Loosen the screws and disconnect the glass from the power window assembly and check the amount of force when manually raising and lowering the glass.
- If the door glass does not move smoothly up and down without jamming, restore the glass guide or adjust the distance between the guides by loosening the bolts securing the lower or central guide and moving them in different directions and tightening the bolts. If this adjustment does not give the desired results, replace the assembly door.
Note. The lower part of the glass guide is not normally adjustable, but it is possible to move it slightly outward when reinstalled within manufacturing tolerances.
