Pic. 7.4. Installing a 0.65 mm thick feeler gauge between the factory idle speed adjustment screw (Fixed SAS) and throttle lever: 1 - throttle lever; 2 - flat probe; 3 – the screw of adjustment of frequency of rotation of idling
2. Insert a 0.65 mm thick feeler gauge between the factory idle speed adjustment screw (Fixed SAS) and throttle lever (pic. 7.4).
3. Turn the ignition key to position «ON» («ON»), but do not start the engine.
4. Loosen the throttle position sensor mounting bolt and turn the sensor counterclockwise until it stops.
5. Make sure that the fully closed throttle switch is turned on in this position.
6. Slowly turning the sensor clockwise, find the position at which the sensor-switch of the fully closed throttle position turns off. After that, securely tighten the throttle position sensor mounting bolt in this position.
7. Check Throttle Position Sensor Output Voltage (TPS). The nominal value is 400-1000 mV.
8. In case of voltage deviations from the nominal value, check the throttle position sensor (TPS) and his chains (wiring harness).
9. Remove the feeler gauge.
10. Turn the ignition key to position «OFF» («OFF»).
11. Disconnect the MUT-II.
