Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp («CHECK ENGINE») lights up in the event of a malfunction of the following elements of the fuel injection system:
- electronic engine control unit;
- oxygen sensor;
- air flow meter sensor;
- air temperature sensor in the intake manifold;
- throttle position sensor (1st channel);
- throttle position sensor (2nd channel);
- coolant temperature sensor;
- crankshaft position sensor;
- camshaft position sensor;
- atmospheric sensor (barometric) pressure;
- knock sensor;
- nozzles;
- violation of abnormal combustion;
- immobilizer systems;
- violation of fuel pressure;
- a vacuum sensor in the vacuum brake booster system;
- power systems;
- accelerator pedal position sensor (1st channel);
- accelerator pedal position sensor (2nd channel);
- electronic throttle control systems;
- throttle feedback circuits;
- throttle servo (servomotor first phase);
- throttle servo (second phase servomotor);
- communication line systems with throttle controller.
Attention! If there is a malfunction in the electronic throttle control system, the engine malfunction indicator lamp will flash.
