The cooling system is designed to maintain the optimal thermal regime of the engine under any operating conditions. This engine uses a liquid cooling system with forced circulation of liquid through the cooling jacket of the cylinder block and cylinder head using a centrifugal pump. When the predetermined temperature of the coolant is exceeded, the thermostat opens and the coolant begins to circulate through the radiator, while giving off heat to the air.
The centrifugal pump is driven by a timing belt or a drive belt from the crankshaft pulley.
The plate type radiator is cooled by an electrically driven fan.
The electrically driven fan is controlled by the electronic engine control unit in accordance with the thermal conditions of the engine.
