Traction control (TCL) operates at speeds below 40 km/h.
When the traction control system is operating, some vibration will be transmitted to the car body and a howl and noise of the electric motor will be heard from the engine compartment. This is the result of the normal operation of the system, it does not indicate a malfunction.
Driving Tips
The TCL traction control does not control the brakes. Always reduce vehicle speed before turning.
On snowy or icy roads, drive slowly and use snow chains.
When the traction control system is operating, the corresponding control lamp lights up. This means that the road is slippery and the vehicle's acceleration is too high. In this case, slightly release the accelerator pedal and maintain a moderate speed.
Never use tires of different sizes, as this may interfere with the traction control system and make it difficult to drive safely.
