Headlight range control switch

The direction of the headlight beam changes depending on the weight of the cargo carried by the car. The headlight range control switch can be used to adjust the distance illuminated by the headlights (when low beam is on), so as not to dazzle oncoming drivers. Set the switch to the appropriate position depending on the number of passengers and the weight of the cargo in the car (pic. 1.19):

О - only the driver / driver + 1 front passenger;

1 - all passengers (including the driver);

2 - all passengers (including the driver) + full loading of the trunk;

3 - driver + full load of the trunk.
