If the car is equipped with air conditioning, then the set temperature, fan speed and ventilation mode are also displayed (air flow direction) (pic. 1.30).
Vehicles without a Mitsubishi audio system only show average fuel consumption.
On vehicles with a Mitsubishi audio system installed, in addition to the average fuel consumption data, by pressing the DISP button («display») audio system, you can get information about the range of the car and its average speed.
Indication brightness and path units (kilometers or miles) can be changed at will. If the system is unable to estimate the value of average speed, range and average fuel consumption, the screen displays «– – –».
The display will change depending on the road conditions (road conditions, driving style, etc.). This information is indicative as the displayed data may differ from the actual data.
Outside temperature
The display shows the air temperature
A - (see fig. 1.30) outside the car. If the temperature drops below approx. 3°C, a warning signal sounds and the display flashes for 5 seconds.
The outside temperature measurement range is from -40°С to +70°С.
If the ambient temperature is out of range (below -40°С or above +70°С), then the display shows the symbols «LO°C» or «HI°C».
Digital Watch
The current time can be set in the following modes:
1) on vehicles with original Mitsubishi audio system: «Auto mode» (auto mode) And «Manual mode» (manual mode);
2) on vehicles without original Mitsubishi audio system: only «Manual mode» (manual mode).
Choice of automatic or manual time setting (only for cars with original Mitsubishi audio system) carried out in the following order:

SET - reset the minutes to zero.
For example:
10:30 - 11:29 is reset to 11:00;
11:30 - 12:29 is reset to 12:00.
Display mode
On vehicles with a Mitsubishi Genuine Audio System, pressing the button «DISP» («Display») In addition to the average fuel consumption, the vehicle's range and average speed can also be shown on the display. When the ignition key is turned to position «ON» («ON») the display shows the data of three indicators in sequence (average fuel consumption - vehicle range - average speed), and then the display returns to the previous state that was before the last turn of the ignition key to position «OFF» («OFF»).
If you press the button «DISP» («Display») during the mode change process described above, the mode change will stop and the display will show that indicator (mode), which was on the display before the last turn of the ignition key to position «OFF» («OFF»).
Display mode selection (only for cars with original Mitsubishi audio system)
On vehicles with a Mitsubishi audio system installed, whenever the button is pressed lightly «DISP» («Display») within less than 2 seconds, the display mode changes in the following sequence: average fuel consumption - vehicle range - average vehicle speed (pic. 1.33).
Pic. 1.33. Button Location «DISP» («Display»)
Average fuel consumption
The display shows the average fuel consumption (L/100 km or mpg - mpg) starting from the time of reset. If you need to start the measurement again, reset the display - it will show the average fuel consumption from now on.
Reset (zeroing) central display
For vehicles without original Mitsubishi audio system
Click on the button A (pic. 1.34) and keep it pressed for more than 2 s.

Click on the button «DISP» («Display») and keep it pressed for more than 2 s.
When the ignition key is turned to position «ON» («ON») the display will show the average fuel consumption corresponding to the moment when the ignition was last switched off.
Vehicle range
Pic. 1.35. Location of vehicle range symbol
On vehicles with a genuine Mitsubishi audio system installed, the display shows the range, that is, the distance (in km or miles), which can pass the car on the remaining fuel in the tank (pic. 1.35).
When the vehicle's range is shown on the display, if the range is less than 50 km (30 miles), a warning tone sounds and the display flashes. In this case, refuel the vehicle as soon as possible. Even if the display currently shows another indicator than the power reserve, when the power reserve is reduced to 50, 25 and 10 km (or 30, 15 and 6 miles) a warning tone will sound and the display will show the power reserve for 5 seconds. The current value then reappears on the display.
Average speed
Vehicles with Mitsubishi Genuine Audio System will display average vehicle speed D (see fig. 1.30). This indicator determines the average speed of the car (in kilometers per hour or miles per hour) since the display was last reset. If desired, you can measure the average speed of movement from any intermediate point in time during the trip.
To reset the display, press the button «DISP» («Display») and keep it pressed for more than 2 s.
Display brightness adjustment
Press the button at the same time to turn on the brightness adjustment function A (see fig. 1.34) and button H time settings.
