1. Remove the two bolts and remove the disc brake caliper assembly, lift it up and secure it with wire (pic. 14.10).
2. Inspect the disc surface for pitting, rust, and cracks. Thoroughly clean the disc and remove all rust.
3. Install the measuring tip of the arrow type indicator at a distance of about 5 mm from the outer edge of the brake disc and, while rotating the brake disc, measure its runout.
The maximum allowable runout value is no more than 0.07 mm.
4. While measuring, tighten the wheel nuts to secure the brake disc to the hub.
