Adjustment in the event of malfunctions in the power window mechanism

If, when closing the glass, it suddenly starts to spontaneously move down, perform the operations to adjust or replace the window mechanism.

1. Remove the door upholstery and waterproof film.

2. Remove the two screws and disconnect the glass from the power window regulator assembly and check the force when manually raising and lowering the glass.

3. If the door glass does not move smoothly up and down without jamming, restore the glass guide or adjust the distance between the guides by loosening the bolts securing the lower or middle guide and moving them in different directions when tightening the bolts. If this adjustment does not give the desired results, replace the entire door assembly.

Attention! The lower glass guide is not normally adjustable, but it is possible to move it slightly outward when reinstalled within manufacturing tolerances.
