Gearbox control mechanism

Gears are switched by moving the synchronizer clutches with the help of forks mounted on rods, which are actuated by the hinged part and the lever head.

The shift lever assembly with the hinge is not adjustable.

If play is detected in the upper part of the lever relative to the lower lever, the assembly is changed.

Periodically check the smoothness of the movement of the two sections of the lever relative to each other, as well as the condition of the dust cover.
