Clutch adjustment

All cars in question after 1989 are equipped with a hydraulic clutch.

Procedure for adjusting the height and free play of the clutch pedal (see subsection 9.1.2).

Clutch Cable Freeplay Adjustment (until 1989)

1. Check the pedal free play, which should be 20–30 mm.

2. If necessary, adjust by turning the cable sheath nut so that there is a 2.5 mm gap between the end of the sleeve and the nut.

3. Check the free play again.
