Transmission case shank oil seal

1. Disconnect the battery from the ground.

2. Raise the car.

3. Drain the liquid.

4. Mark the position of the flange of the cardan shaft and disconnect the shaft (see subsection 9.3.9).

5. Remove the cover, pry and remove the gland.

6. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.

7. Lubricate the new oil seal and press it in with a mandrel until the oil seal plane aligns with the gearbox housing.
