Removing
1. Remove the cylinder head cover.
2. Loosen the camshaft sprocket bolt.
3. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to TDC by turning the crankshaft until the mark on the crankshaft pulley aligns with the mark on the cylinder head. Further rotation of the crankshaft is not allowed.
4. Turn away a bolt of an asterisk and get a small gear wheel of the distributor of ignition.
5. Remove the sprocket with the chain and put it on the holder.
6. Put special brackets MD998448 on the hydraulic pushers.
7. Gradually loosen the camshaft journal cap bolts, starting with the central bolt and moving around the periphery.
8. Turn out bolts and get rollers with yokes.
Installation
1. Turn away bolts of fastening of rollers on covers of basic necks and get covers, yokes, springs and washers. Store all removed parts in the order in which they were installed.
2. Check up a condition of persistent surfaces of yokes, and backlashes in yokes and rollers. Check the cleanliness of the oil channels. Replace worn parts.
Replace defective tappets that do not fully close the valve. To do this, remove the bracket (the pusher will fall out) and insert a new pusher, securing the bracket again.
3. Assemble the rollers with the covers by lining up the marks on the rollers and on the front cover.
Lubricate and install all removed parts in the same order.
4. Further assembly is carried out in the reverse order. Tighten the roller mounting bolts with a torque of 20 Nm. Tighten the sprocket bolt with a torque of 54 Nm. Adjust jet valve.
