Distributor cap and slider — replacement

1. Remove the cover by releasing the latches or screws.

2. Check the condition of the cover (the presence of cracks, traces of breakdown, etc.).

3. Remove the slider (on parts of cars, the slider is attached with a screw) and inspect.

Replace worn slider (contacts must not be cleaned).

4. Check the condition of the high-voltage wires, replace if necessary by removing and installing each wire individually.

5. Install all parts in reverse order.
