Tank pressure reducing valve

The valve is designed to maintain pressure in the tank by removing vapors when their pressure rises above normal. Vapors are discharged into a tank with an absorber. The valve is mounted on a hose, between the fitting on the tank and the ball check valve.

Removal, installation and check

1. Squeeze the clamps and remove the hoses from the valve.

2. Fit the hoses onto the new valve, orienting it correctly.

3. The valve is tested by blowing in both directions. Air should only flow from the side of the fuel tank.
