Most of the cars are equipped with a multi-nozzle fuel injection system (MFI-system), which is powered by an electric fuel pump.
Perform decompression before depressurizing the fuel line. To do this, remove the hatch near the tank, disconnect the pump connector, start the engine and after it stops, turn off the ignition, disconnect the battery from the ground.
