Removing
1. Disconnect the battery from the ground.
2. Drain the liquid.
3. Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the engine.
4. Designate and disconnect from a cover of a head of cylinders all hoses.
5. Disconnect the wire from the temperature sensor.
6. Disconnect the pipes and hoses from the turbocharger, plug all openings immediately.
7. Disconnect fuel pipes.
8. Disconnect the glow plug connectors.
9. Remove both collectors.
10. Remove the upper belt cover. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to the TDC of the compression stroke.
11. Mark the direction of rotation on the toothed belts. Loosen the crankshaft bolt and remove the pulley without allowing the crankshaft to rotate.
12. Remove the lower belt cover.
13. Loosen the tensioner bolt, move the tensioner to the cooling pump and tighten the bolts.
14. Remove the camshaft and fuel pump sprockets. Shaft rotation during removal is not allowed.
15. Remove a gear belt and the fuel pump.
16. Remove the cylinder head cover and gasket.
17. Release bolts of a head of cylinders in the specified order for 2–3 receptions and turn out.
18. Remove the cylinder head and gasket.
19. Clean the removed head. Do the necessary work.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Install a new gasket and install the head.
2. Tighten the bolts in this order, first by hand and then in 2 stages - first with a torque of 54 Nm, then tighten with a torque of 108 Nm. Tighten the crankshaft bolt with a torque of 70 Nm.
3. When installing the belt, first tighten the tensioner bolt in the adjusting groove, and then the axle bolt. Rotation of the crankshaft when installing the belt is not allowed. Turn the crankshaft clockwise so that the camshaft sprocket moves 2 teeth from the alignment mark, and then back, aligning the marks.
Check the tension of the belt, which should be 4-5 mm in the middle between the fuel pump and the camshaft. When finished, check the ignition setting.
