Checking the oil pump thermostat

1. Remove the thermostat from the oil filter bracket.



2. Measure the distance "A" between valve seat (1) and the end of the threaded part of the thermostat housing at ambient temperature and after heating to 100°C in an oil bath, which should be 34.5 and 40 mm, respectively.

3. Scroll the crankshaft for 10 seconds.
