Removing
1. Disconnect the hose from the spool.
2. Turn out the spool and attach the hose to the removed spool.
3. While idling a warm engine, place your finger on the spool hole.
The absence of a well-perceptible vacuum indicates a malfunction of the spool and the need to replace it. Stop the engine.
4. Checking the vacuum on the spool.
5. Remove the spool from the hose and blow through the spool from the threaded side. If air does not pass, replace the spool.
Flush the hoses with solvent and check their condition.
Installation
The spool is installed in the reverse order of removal.
