Attention! The transmission drain plug is provided only on some vehicles. The procedure for replacing the fluid in this case is no different from that described below, with the exception that instead of removing the pan, you must unscrew the plug.
Automatic transmission drain plug (on car parts)
1. Drain plug
Marks for checking the transmission fluid level on the dipstick
1. Low mark for cold liquid
2. Top mark for cold liquid
3. Lower mark for hot liquid
4. Top mark for hot liquid
Order of execution
1. Immediately after the trip, the car and place it on stands. Install the pallet under the transmission case.
2. Carefully remove the pallet by first partially unscrewing the bolts and lightly tapping, and then completely unscrewing the bolts. Drain the liquid. Check the condition of the fluid. If the liquid is black or dark brown, or spreads "burnt" smell, then you need to take the car to a car service to check the transmission.
3. Turn away bolts of fastening and remove the filter. Replace porous filter.
Wash the mesh filter in solvent and dry.
4. Install the filter and thoroughly rinsed pan in reverse order, replacing the gaskets. Tighten the pan bolts in diagonal sequence to 17 N.m.
5. Pour into fresh fluid in the required amount to the lower mark on the dipstick.
Liquid pouring is not allowed.
6. Start the engine and move the selector lever from position P to all other positions, then back to position P. Check the transmission fluid level. Top up to the bottom mark. Drive, check the level again and top up to the top mark for a warm transmission.
