Hood locks and hinges
The spring, spring anchor and hood hinges are lubricated with engine oil.
The lock drum is lubricated with graphite grease using a key.
Door hinges
All hinges are lubricated with engine oil.
Front wheel bearing lubrication (rear wheel drive vehicles)
Front wheel hub

1. Remove the hub and brake disc, remove the disc from the hub (see subsection 11.12.3).
2. Get an epiploon and the internal bearing. If the bearings are in good condition, then they can be used further. Replace worn bearings by knocking out the bearing rings from the hub with a brass beard.
3. Bearing rings are pressed with special mandrels or devices until they stop against the shoulder of the hub cavity.
4. Lubricate the bearings and hub cavity.
5. Press the oil seal with a mandrel so that its surface is flush with the end face of the hub.
6. Install all parts in reverse order.
Grease is replaced after 2 years or 48,000 km.
When changing the lubricant, it is forbidden to wash the bearings in gasoline and blow them with compressed air. Only weak solvents may be used.
Jacking up the car
Places for installing a jack under a car
1. Park the vehicle on level ground, block the wheels and apply the handbrake.
2. Place a jack under one of the indicated places and raise the vehicle.
