Checking high voltage wires

Wires are changed, or at least checked after 80,000 km or 5 years.

1. Remove the wire by holding the tip.

2. Check the presence of corrosion, cracks and traces of burning on the insulation, tightness of the wire.

3. Check wire resistance. If the resistance of the spark plug wires is above 30,000 ohms, and the wires from the ignition coil are above 15,000 ohms, then replace the wires.

4. Lay the new wires in the mounting brackets, exactly along the route of their passage.
