Modern technology allows you to drive a new car without experiencing the problems associated with the need to drive at a reduced speed for the first time the car is in operation.
However, in order for the car to serve you longer, the following rules must be observed during the first 500 km of run.
It is recommended that you do not drive the vehicle at very high speeds during the first time a new vehicle is used.
Warm up the engine before driving.
Do not rev the engine too much.
Try not to start suddenly, pick up speed sharply, drive at high speed for a long time and apply heavy braking. This not only negatively affects the engine, but also leads to increased fuel and oil consumption, as well as accelerated wear of rubbing parts. Especially avoid running the engine at high speed in low gear.
Do not overload the vehicle. Do not carry too many passengers.
Try not to tow a trailer or other vehicle during this period of time (see subsection 1.33.5).
