Headlights — lamp replacement and adjustment

When replacing the left headlight bulb, remove the engine coolant expansion tank.

Disconnect the connection connector and remove the cap by turning it counterclockwise. Remove the cartridge and remove the bulb from the cartridge.

Attention! Never handle the glass of a halogen light bulb with bare fingers or with dirty gloved fingers. If the glass surface is dirty, clean it with alcohol, dry thoroughly and reinstall.

Headlight adjustment

Headlight adjustment must be carried out under the following conditions:

• the vehicle must be parked on a level surface;
• check the headlights for rust or malfunctions;
• the driver must sit in his seat, the car's fuel tank must be filled;
• rock the car up and down a few times.

Adjustment of headlights of head light of a vertical plane

Check that the air bubble is exactly in the middle of the scale. If the bubble is not in the center, turn the vertical adjustment screw so that the bubble is in the center.

Adjustment of headlights in a horizontal plane

Check that the red mark is aligned with the center line. If the mark does not line up with the center line, turn the horizontal adjustment screw and set the red mark so that it lines up with the center line.

Front headlight

When replacing the left headlight bulb, remove the engine coolant expansion tank. Loosen the fixing screw. Remove the spring securing the headlight to the engine compartment.



Remove the headlight from the front of the car.

When replacing a front turn signal bulb, turn the bulb holder counterclockwise, pull out the bulb holder, and remove the bulb.

When replacing the side turn signal bulb, remove the bulb from the socket.

When installing the headlight unit, insert the pin on the headlight unit into the hole on the body.

Loosen the screws securing the headlight assembly.

Slide the headlight unit to the side and remove it from the vehicle. Remove the bulb holder along with the bulbs.

Remove the bulb from the socket by pushing the bulb in and turning it counterclockwise.
