* Vehicles with automatic transmission
Signal arrows for direction indicators / alarms
When the direction indicators are turned on, the signal arrow will work in unison with the external direction indicators. When the alarm is activated, both signal arrows will flash.
Signal lamp for switching on high beam headlights
The blue lamp lights up when the high beam headlights are turned on.
Automatic transmission gear indicator (for models with automatic transmission)
When the ignition key is turned to the ON position, the indicator lamp lights up and the indicator shows which gear is engaged on the automatic transmission.
Door open warning light
This warning light comes on if any of the doors are open or not closed properly.
Before driving, check that this warning light is off.
Brake warning light
This warning light comes on when the ignition key is turned to the ON position (engine off).
After starting the engine, the lamp should go out. If you apply the parking brake or if the brake fluid level falls below a certain level, the lamp will turn on.
Before driving away, release the parking brake and check that the warning light goes out. If the warning light does not go out after the vehicle has been released from the parking brake, this indicates a malfunction of the lamp switch or that the level of the brake fluid in the reservoir has fallen below a certain level.
Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If it is too low, it is necessary to find and eliminate the cause of the lowering of the brake fluid level. Until then, driving is dangerous.
Attention! If you turn off the engine after releasing the parking brake, the warning light will come on, this is normal. the lamp will go out after the engine is started.
Anti-lock brake warning light (if installed)
The warning light comes on in the event of a malfunction in the anti-lock brake system. It also comes on when the ignition key is turned to the ON position and should go out after starting the engine.
Always make sure the lamp is off before you go on a trip.
If the lamp comes on while driving, stop the vehicle and turn off the engine. Test the ABS system by starting the engine and driving the vehicle at approximately 10 km/h or more for 20 seconds or more. If the signal lamp goes out, everything is in order. If the lamp does not go out or lights up again, then there is a malfunction in the anti-lock brake system and only the normal brake system is functioning.
In this case, contact a specialist to check and repair the ABS system.
Attention! If the lamp does not go out after starting the engine, this means that only the normal braking system is functioning, without the ABS system (see subsection 11.16).
Warning light and horn to warn you to fasten your seat belt
When the ignition key is turned to the ON position, the signal lamp will light up for 4–8 seconds, even if the driver has fastened his seat belt.
If the driver is not wearing a seat belt when the ignition key is turned to the ON position, the chime will sound for approximately 4 to 8 seconds to remind the driver to fasten the seat belt.
If you buckle up within this period of time, the beep will stop.
Low fuel warning light
The warning light comes on when the fuel level in the fuel tank drops to about 11 liters.
It is recommended to fill the fuel tank as soon as possible after the warning light comes on.
Attention! Do not drive with very low fuel levels: if you run out of fuel, the catalytic converter may be damaged.
Cruise control indicator
This indicator will come on when the cruise control system is turned on.
Transmission mode indicator (if installed)
If the ignition key is turned to the ON position, one of the PWR or HOLD indicators will light up.
When the transmission is engaged in normal operation, both indicators should turn off.
High gear off indicator (models with automatic transmission)
This indicator will illuminate when the overdrive switch is turned to the OFF position (Turned off).
Automatic transmission fluid overheat warning light (models with automatic transmission)
The automatic transmission fluid overheat warning light comes on when the temperature of the automatic transmission fluid rises too high.
An excessive increase in automatic transmission fluid temperature is usually caused by severe engine and transmission conditions. Typically, slower engine speed and more relaxed driving at slower acceleration rates will allow the coolant to return to normal temperature, at which point the warning light should go out. If it does not go out, slow down the engine and stop the car. Then put into park gear and let the engine idle. Wait until the signal lamp goes out. When the warning light goes out, you can continue driving. If the warning light does not go out, have the engine and transmission checked by a specialist.
Attention! If the transmission fluid level is too low, this can cause the transmission to overheat and wear out prematurely.
Attention! On vehicles equipped with a shiftable automatic transmission, the coolant overheat warning light may flash if there is a malfunction in the transmission control system. When the warning light flashes, a safety mechanism is activated that maintains a constant speed, but does not allow the engine to run at full power when accelerating or climbing. If the overheating warning light flashes, it is necessary to contact a specialist to check the gearbox and engine (see subsection 1.16.8).
Engine Warning/Malfunction Warning Lamp
This warning light comes on if any of the emission control system components fails, the system is not working properly and the CO level is above normal.
This warning light also comes on when the ignition key is turned to the ON position and then goes out after a few seconds.
If it comes on while driving or does not come on when the ignition key is turned to the ON position, have the emission control system checked by an expert.
Maintenance warning lamp
In order for the emission control system to work properly, it must be checked periodically. The warning light comes on after 80,000 km, 130,000 km and 160,000 km to warn that the emission control system needs to be checked.
If the warning light comes on, have the emission control system checked and serviced by an expert.
Attention! If you continue to drive the vehicle while the warning light is on, the performance of the emission control system may be adversely affected.
For more information on vehicle maintenance intervals, see subsection 2.1.
Low oil pressure warning light (if installed)
The warning light comes on when the oil pressure drops below the normal level.
If the lamp comes on while driving, stop and shut off the engine as soon as possible and do not drive until the cause of the low oil pressure has been corrected. The signal lamp does not show the oil level in the crankcase. The oil level must be checked using a dipstick with the engine off.
Attention! If the oil level is too low, engine damage may result.
Battery Charging System Warning Light
The warning light comes on when the ignition key is turned to the ON position (engine off). After starting the engine, the lamp should go out. If it stays on after starting the engine, there is probably a problem with the battery charging system. In this case, contact a specialist to check the system.
Air bag warning light
The warning light comes on if the airbag system is malfunctioning. It also lights up about 7 seconds later after turning the ignition key to the ON position or after starting the engine. After 7 seconds, the lamp goes out.
Check the operation of the lamp every time you start the engine.
If it does not come on, or stays on for more than 7 seconds after turning the ignition key to the ON position or after starting the engine, or if it comes on while driving, have the airbag system checked by an expert (see subsection 1.9.2).

Sound signal warning about the inclusion of headlights
If the driver's door is opened when the ignition key is in the LOCK or ACC position, or removed from the ignition when the headlight switch is in the $ position, a chime will sound to remind the driver to turn off the headlights.
Move the lever to the OFF position, the beep will stop.
