Attention! Always turn off the windshield wipers and wait for them to reset before stopping the engine, especially in cold weather. If the wipers are not returned to the park position, but left on the glass, if they freeze to the windshield, the wiper motor may be damaged the next time it is started.
Attention! Before turning on the windscreen wipers in cold weather, check that they are not frozen to the windshield. If you operate the wipers under these conditions, the wiper motor may burn out.
Attention! Do not operate the windshield wipers when the glass is dry, as they may scratch the glass. It can also lead to premature wear of the brushes.
Attention! Replace the wiper blades when they are worn out so that the visibility of the road in rainy weather is not reduced. Use brushes of the correct size.
Attention! If you have any questions, please contact the experts.
Attention! If the wiper is stopped by any obstacle such as ice or snow during operation, the wiper motor may burn out even if the wiper control is returned to the OFF position. If this happens, stop the car and turn off the ignition, then clean the rear window so that the wiper can operate normally.
Switching on the rear window washers
Washer fluid will spray onto the rear window as long as the switch button is pressed.
When you turn on the washers, the rear window wiper will turn on automatically for two or three strokes.
Attention! Do not use washers for longer than 20 s. Do not operate the windshield washers if the washer reservoir is empty.
Attention! The filler neck for the rear window washer reservoir is located on the inside of the rear door.
Periodically check the fluid level in the reservoir and add washer fluid if necessary.
In the cold season, do not forget to add the recommended washer solution to the reservoir so that the washer fluid in the reservoir does not freeze. If you do not do this, the washers may stop working and the entire washer system may be damaged when the water freezes.
