Removal and installation
Front indicators and repeaters
On late production cars, the diffuser is glued to the reflector.
1. On older vehicles, unscrew the screws and remove the diffuser (or repeater cover).
2. Remove the repeater lamp by pulling it towards you.
3. The direction indicator lamp is removed after turning it counterclockwise.
4. Install the new bulb in reverse order, taking into account that there is only one way for the bulb to fit into the grooves of the holder.
5. Remove the spring or unscrew the screws (if they are accessible from the outside).
6. Carefully remove the pointer, being careful not to break the latches or brackets.
7. Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise and remove.
8. Replace lamp.
Rear lights and direction indicators
1. On early production vehicles, to replace the bulb, remove the diffuser on the rear bulb combination.
2. On vehicles after 1990, to replace the bulb from the rear combination, do the following.
3. Determine which lamp is off and remove the diffuser cover.
4. Turn away screws and remove a casing of a back combination.
5. Take out the lamp holder (as a rule, you need to turn it 1/4 turn) and replace the lamp (lamp turns inside out).
