Cars 1992-98
On these vehicles, the beam must be adjusted only after removing the headlight, this procedure does not apply to the mandatory, performed in the order of routine maintenance.
1. Install the car on a flat area, pump the suspension.
2. The tire pressure must be correct, the tank must be fully filled (imitation by cargo is allowed at the rate of 0.8 kg/l of fuel), and the driver's seat is loaded with a mass of 70 kg.
3. Clean the headlights.
4. Adjust the vertical angle of the beam, for which, by turning the adjusting screw, ensure that the bubble of the vertical goniometer is between the two adjustment marks. The vertical angle when rotated by 1 division changes to 12.
5. Adjust the beam horizontally, for which, by turning the adjusting screw, achieve the alignment of the red and black marks of the indicator. The horizontal angle when rotated by 1 division changes to 23`.
6. If the beam cannot be adjusted in this way, contact a car service.
Other cars
The beam is adjusted using the marked screen.
1. Install the car on a flat area 3 m from the screen, pump the suspension.
2. The tire pressure must be correct, the tank must be fully filled (imitation by cargo is allowed at the rate of 0.8 kg/l of fuel), and the driver's seat is loaded with a mass of 70 kg.
3. Clean the headlights.
4. Determine the center of the headlight according to the markup and draw (paste) crosshairs, the centers of which are located opposite the centers of the headlights.
5. Turn the adjusting screws to set the dipped beam light ellipse as required. High beam adjustment is not required.
