Attention! Disassemble the capacitor connections without exerting much force, tighten them without exceeding the specified torque. When assembling, replace the O-rings.
Vehicles with 2.6 and 3.0 liter engines (12-valve)
1. Depressurize the refrigerant line in a car service.
Single stage air conditioner
2. Remove the front grille.
3. Carefully unscrew the union on the condenser. On V6 engines there are 3 connections on the right and 4 connections on the left. On the 2.6L engine, disconnect the line to the condenser and disconnect the water separator.
4. Turn away bolts and remove a moisture separator.
5. Remove the condenser fan.
6. Turn away a bolt and remove the condenser.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
8. Tighten the fitting with a torque of 24 Nm.
Two stage air conditioner (with 2 condensers in the cooling circuit)
9. Remove a facing lattice of a front end of the car.
10. Carefully unscrew the pipe fittings on the condensers and on the opposite side, unscrew the bolts and remove the water separator.
11. Remove the condenser fan.
12. Turn away a bolt from the opposite party of a moisture separator and remove the condenser.
13. Disconnect a socket from the auxiliary fan, turn away bolts and remove the second condenser.
14. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
15. Replace the o-rings on the fittings.
16. Tighten the fitting with a torque of 24 Nm.
Vehicles with 3.0L engines (24-valve) and 3.5 l
1. Depressurize the refrigerant line in a car service.
2. Disconnect the battery from the ground.
3. Remove a facing lattice of a front end of the car.
4. Remove an arm of the lock of a cowl.
5. Remove the transmission fluid cooler bolts.
6. Turn away bolts of an oil radiator, remove an arm.
7. Turn away bolts of fastening of the condenser.
8. Disconnect the high pressure tube from the condenser and water separator.
9. Remove the water separator and bracket.
10. Remove the condenser fan.
11. Disconnect the upper high pressure hose on the condenser.
12. Remove the condenser and get consolidations.
13. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
14. Replace the o-rings on the fittings.
15. Tighten the fitting with a torque of 24 Nm.
