Removing
1.. Raise the front of the car, remove the wheel, fender guard and mud deflector.
2. Remove shock absorber.
3. Hang the lower lever with a jack and unload the torsion bar by unscrewing the adjusting nut of the torsion bar lever bolt.
4. Disconnect the brake hose, release the hose from the bracket on the upper arm.
5. Remove buffer bracket and brake hose bracket.
6. Unpin the nut and press out the upper ball joint with a puller MB990809-01 or equivalent.
7. Press out the tie rod pin.
8. Turn away nuts and bolts of an axis of the lever, remove adjusting washers and remove the lever.
Installation
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account the following.
10. Install the adjusting washers in the same order, tighten the nuts of the lever axle first with a torque of 54 Nm, after lowering the car - with a torque of 100–120 Nm.
11. Tighten the tie rod nut with a torque of 60–90 Nm, the buffer buffer bolts with a torque of 9–14 Nm.
12. Adjust the torsion bar (see subsection 10.2.1), pump the brakes.
