Specifications
Automatic transmission fluid: DIA QUEEN ATF SP III.
The amount of liquid to be filled in: 8.1 l.
Replacement Method
If you have an automatic transmission fluid change facility, it is recommended that you use it to flush the transmission and change the fluid. If you do not have a fluid change facility at your disposal, follow the procedure below.
Disconnect the hose shown in the figure that connects the gearbox to the heat exchanger (inside the radiator).
Start the engine and let the working fluid drain. Selector position: when the engine is idling, the selector is in position «N».
Attention! The engine must be turned off one minute after starting it. If the fluid leaked out earlier, respectively, the engine must be turned off earlier.
Amount of drained liquid: approximately 3.5 liters.
Unscrew the drain plug located at the bottom of the gearbox housing to drain any remaining fluid.
Drained quantity: approximately 2.0 liters.
Install drain plug with new gasket installed and tighten to specified torque.
Recommended tightening torque: 32±2 Nm.
Pour fresh ATF through the filler neck.
Recommended amount: approximately 5.5 liters.
Attention! Pour strictly 5.5 liters of liquid.
Start the engine again and allow the working fluid to drain.
Fill with fresh AFT through the filler neck.
Recommended amount: Approximately 3.5 liters.
Note. Warm up, drain and fill with fluid until at least 8.0 liters are drained from the cooling tube. Then drain a small amount of ATF and check for contamination, then repeat the operations.
Connect the hose disconnected earlier, insert the dipstick. Start the engine and let it idle for 1-2 minutes. Move the selector lever to each position, returning it to neutral each time. Check if the fluid level is at the COLD mark (cold). If the fluid level does not reach this mark, add more fluid.
Drive the vehicle so that the fluid temperature reaches operating temperature (70–80°C) and then check the fluid level. The fluid level must be between the marks «HOT» (hot).
Note. mark «COLD» (cold) serves for reference purposes. marks «HOT» (hot) used to determine the liquid level.
Measure ATF temperature with MUT II/III.
If a sufficiently long time is needed to warm up the gearbox, determine the level of the working fluid according to the table that brings the fluid level at a given temperature to a fluid temperature of 70–80°C.
If the fluid level is below the recommended level, top up. If the ATF level exceeds the recommended level, drain excess fluid through the drain hole.
Firmly insert the dipstick into the oil filler tube
