Check engine oil level.
Disconnect the engine oil pressure switch connector.
Using a special key, remove the sensor-switch.
Attention! Sealant is applied to the threaded connection of the sensor-switch, be careful not to damage the sensor-switch when removing it.
Connect the measuring device through the adapter (manometer).
Start the engine and let it idle (warming up).
After warming up the engine, check that the oil pressure is correct.
Rated value:
- Idling: 29 kPa or more.
- 3500 min-1: 294–686 kPa.
Disconnect the meter (manometer).
Apply sealant to the threads of the oil pressure switch before installing.
Sealant: 3MATD#8660 or equivalent.
Attention! Be careful not to block the oil passage when applying the sealant.
Install and tighten the sensor-switch to the rated torque.
Tightening torque: 19±3 Nm.
Note. After installing the sensor switch, wait at least an hour before starting the engine.
Connect the engine oil pressure switch connector.
